Removing a tree is the part of this work where experience matters most. An open field is one thing; a tree leaning over a roof with a fence, a garden, and power nearby is another. We plan every removal around what's underneath and around it, and we take trees down in a controlled way so nothing gets damaged on the way to the ground.
Where there's room, we fell the tree in one piece. Where there isn't, we climb or use our equipment to dismantle it in sections, roping down limbs and logs so they land where we want them. Either way, the site gets cleaned up: brush chipped, wood cut down or hauled, and the ground raked out. We can leave firewood-length rounds if you want them.
We remove dead, dying, storm-damaged, crowded, and unwanted trees for property owners throughout the greater Skagit County area. We'll always give you an honest opinion first: if a tree can be saved with pruning instead, we'll say so.

Tree Removal FAQ
Quick answers to the questions we hear most about this service.
It depends on your city or county and the tree's size and location. Some areas regulate removals; many don't for trees on private residential property. We'll let you know what we know for your area, but the property owner is responsible for confirming local rules.
Yes. Technical removals near buildings are a specialty of ours. We rope and lower sections in a controlled way so everything comes down safely, away from your home and landscaping.
Branches go through the chipper and the wood is cut down and hauled off, unless you'd like us to leave rounds for firewood. Either way we clean up and rake the area before we leave.
