A Husband-and-Wife Tree Team

Based on Samish Island and serving the greater Skagit County area since 2018. Careful, detail-oriented tree work from people who love what they do.

Meet Billy & Aubrey

LaCount Tree Services is Billy and Aubrey LaCount - a husband-and-wife team based on Samish Island in Skagit County. We've been at this since 2018, and we truly love what we do. That shows up in the details: clean cuts, a keen eye for what a tree needs, and a site left tidy at the end of the day.

We specialize in tree trimming and removal, including chipping and stump grinding. We're experienced with hazardous trees and technical precision work around buildings and other obstacles - the jobs that take planning and the right rigging.

What You Can Expect

Every job starts with an on-site assessment. We come out, look at the tree and the site together, and give you a clear price with no hidden fees or surprise add-ons. If a tree can be saved with pruning instead of removed, we'll tell you - and if a job isn't the right fit for us, we'll say so up front.

We take safety seriously, for your property and for us. On removals near homes, fences, and gardens we rope and lower sections under control instead of dropping them, and we plan technical work around everything that has to stay safe. We show up when we say we will, and if weather or a job runs long, we let you know.

Cleanup is part of the work, not an add-on. We chip the brush, cut and haul the wood (or leave firewood rounds if you want them), and rake out the area before we go. When we're finished, we walk the work with you.

For trees tangled in the primary utility lines along the road, that's the power company's responsibility and we'll point you their way so it's handled safely. Everything else on your property, we're glad to take a look at.
